Law360, New York (October 11, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge on Thursday shot down a settlement deal that Sharper Image Corp. had proposed with plaintiffs who claimed the retailer’s $300-a-pop Ionic Breeze air purifiers did more harm than good. The deal had roused some class members' ire by proposing $19 coupons for the class and $1.9 million in spoils for attorneys.
