MDL Plaintiffs Say GSK Won't Uphold Avandia Settlement

Law360, Washington (August 29, 2012, 2:57 PM EDT) -- A group of 239 plaintiffs in multidistrict litigation for heart disease claims against GlaxoSmithKline PLC over diabetes drug Avandia asked a Pennsylvania federal judge to disburse the remaining funds from their settlement agreement, saying the pharma giant refuses to release the money.
