7th Circ. Revives Contract Claims In Train Derailment Suit

Law360, New York (August 29, 2012, 5:50 PM EDT) -- The Seventh Circuit on Wednesday ruled that Plano Molding Co. cannot be held entirely liable in a suit over a 2005 Oklahoma trail derailment caused by cargo it ordered, but it revived contract claims, saying it is unclear whether the company was a contracting party that arranged the shipment.
