Review Of $200M NJ Offshore Wind Farm Project Suspended

Law360, New York (August 30, 2012, 9:07 PM EDT) -- Developer Fishermen's Energy of New Jersey LLC' s race to build the state's first offshore wind farm downshifted into neutral gear Wednesday, after the state utility board suspended review of the $200 million project as the company considers changes to its application.

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities announced it had granted Fishermen's Energy's bid to halt the review until Sept. 17.

Fishermen's Energy spokeswoman Rhonda Jackson said the company needs more time to make some decisions on the project.
