Fed. Circ. Orders 3rd Damages Trial In Quanta Disc IP Case

Law360, New York (August 30, 2012, 8:49 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Thursday ordered a third damages trial in LaserDynamics Inc.'s disc recognition patent battle with Quanta Computer Inc., citing flaws in the second trial while agreeing with the lower court that LaserDynamics' expert had improperly calculated damages in the first trial.
