Male Job Applicant Drops Gender Bias Case Against CBS

Law360, New York (September 4, 2012, 2:24 PM EDT) -- A former CBS Corp. job applicant has dropped his discrimination lawsuit accusing the network and one of its executives of refusing to hire him for a programming development position based on his gender, according to a court filing.

Daysun Perkins asked a Los Angeles Superior Court judge on Aug. 29 to dismiss his allegations that CBS and its television distribution unit violated the California Fair Employment and Housing Act by passing him over for the job because he was a man.
