8th Circ. Blocks Minn. Campaign Finance Law

Law360, New York (September 5, 2012, 8:28 PM EDT) -- A divided Eighth Circuit on Wednesday blocked provisions of a Minnesota campaign finance law, saying its reporting requirements infringe on the rights of businesses and associations to engage in political speech and potentially run afoul of the U.S. Supreme Court's landmark decision in Citizens United.
