Ex-Philly Charter School Boss Drops Daily News Libel Suit

Law360, Philadelphia (September 6, 2012, 3:50 PM EDT) -- The former head of an online charter school dropped his libel suit against the publisher of the Philadelphia Daily News on Wednesday, according to a filing in Philadelphia’s Court of Common Pleas.

John Craig, the founder and CEO of Frontier Virtual Charter High School, agreed to bear all costs of the suit, through which he had sought damages for lost business opportunities and emotional suffering after the tabloid published a front-page story in March headlined "WORST. SCHOOL. EVER."
