Canadian Aluminum Co. Gets 20-Year Lease For Quebec Mining

Law360, New York (September 6, 2012, 4:41 PM EDT) -- Canadian clean technology company Orbite Aluminae Inc. has worked out a 20-year renewable lease deal with the government of Quebec for its mining operations at the company's Grande-Vallee property, Orbite said Thursday.

The lease approval by Quebec's Ministry of Natural Resources is a significant step towards construction of a smelter-grade aluminum production plant at Grande-Vallee, located on the Gulf of St. Lawrence in eastern Quebec.
