Cheese Importer Launches Recall Over Listeria Risk

Law360, Chicago (September 11, 2012, 4:19 PM EDT) -- An American importer of Ricotta Salata Frescolina brand cheese is recalling some of the product because of a possible contamination by the dangerous bacteria Listeria monocytogenes, with the company saying Monday that the product may be linked to 14 reported illnesses in 11 states.
