Houston Texans Sued After Fan Injured By Falling Sign

Law360, Houston (September 11, 2012, 7:33 PM EDT) -- A sports fan launched a suit Tuesday in Texas court against the Houston Texans and the Harris County Convention & Sports Corp. over injuries he suffered when he was hit in the head by part of an LED sign at Reliant Stadium.

Scott Woodard says he was attending the Texans’ season opener against the Miami Dolphins in Houston on Sunday, when a metal access panel attached to a large LED display suspended above him became dislodged and fell on him.
