DEA Strips 2 CVS Pharmacies Of Drug Licenses

Law360, New York (September 12, 2012, 12:11 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has revoked the controlled substances licenses of two CVS Caremark Corp. pharmacies accused of filling suspicious orders for painkiller oxycodone as part of a crackdown on prescription drug abuse, ahead of a D.C. Circuit hearing Wednesday over earlier agency decisions to just suspend the pharmacies’ licenses.
