Ex-Dow Official Implicates JP Morgan

Law360, New York (October 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former Dow Chemical executive who was fired after allegedly engaging in secret, unauthorized buyout talks with JP Morgan has dragged the financial giant into the legal fallout surrounding the botched deal.

On Friday, tarnished executive Romeo Kreinberg fired off a complaint against JP Morgan in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, accusing the bank of trying to hoodwink Dow by not revealing its actual role in the clandestine buyout negotiations.
