Ex-City Council Candidate Can't Shake Fraud Charge

Law360, New York (September 18, 2012, 7:57 PM EDT) -- A judge on Friday refused to dismiss a mail fraud charge against a former candidate for the Jersey City, N.J., council who was snared in a sweeping political corruption sting, denying arguments that prosecutors failed to show there was a scheme to defraud her campaign committee.
