Dewey Ballantine Hires Pharmacogenomics Expert For IP Group

Law360, New York (August 3, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Dewey Ballantine has hired Noemi "Nicky" Espinosa as a partner in its intellectual property group, in a move designed to bolster its presence in the emerging pharmacogenomics industry.

Espinosa joins the firm with more than 20 years of experience in patent law, as well as intimate knowledge of the industry, the firm said Wednesday. She will work at the firm's East Palo Alto, California office, geographically tied to a region rich in pharmaceutical and genetic research.
