BofA Calls Bid To Join Mortgage Insurance Suits A Power Play

Law360, New York (September 20, 2012, 7:03 PM EDT) -- Bank of America Corp. and some plaintiffs alleging that banks and insurers engaged in kickback schemes that inflated mortgage insurance prices on Thursday told a federal judicial panel that a proposal to consolidate the cases in Florida was a power play on the part of plaintiffs' attorneys.
