Dog Treats Sold At Target Recalled Over Salmonella Fears

Law360, New York (September 24, 2012, 6:16 PM EDT) -- A Colorado company is voluntarily recalling its Boots & Barkley beef dog treats, which are sold at Target Corp. stores across the U.S., after a routine sampling of the treats revealed salmonella contamination, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Friday.

Kasel Associated Industries, which manufactures the treats, says it is recalling all six-count, five-inch packages of Boots & Barkley "American Beef Bully Sticks" sold at Target between April and September over concerns that they could sicken both pets and pet owners who handle the treats....
