Seattle Board Signs Off On Amazon's Downtown Complex

Law360, New York (September 26, 2012, 5:27 PM EDT) -- A Seattle review board on Tuesday endorsed Inc.'s proposal to develop a three-tower, 3.3-million-square-foot downtown office campus, marking one of the biggest development projects that part of the Emerald City has ever seen.

The Internet retail giant, which purchased three city blocks in Seattle's increasingly popular Denny Triangle neighborhood last winter, aims to build one 38-story and one eight-story office tower on each of the parcels, according to a detailed proposal packet Amazon presented to the city's Design Review Board at a meeting Tuesday night....
