AT&T Settles Its Claims In Caller ID Scam Case

Law360, Dallas (September 26, 2012, 6:50 PM EDT) -- AT&T Inc. reached a tentative settlement agreement Tuesday with several companies it had accused of data mining millions of customer names and phone numbers using a caller ID spoofing scam, lawyers said.

The companies agreed in principle but the terms of the settlement haven’t been finalized and are likely to remain confidential, said Henry T.
