GE-Hitachi Gets Nod For Laser Uranium Enrichment Plant

Law360, New York (September 25, 2012, 8:38 PM EDT) -- The federal government on Tuesday signed off on a proposal from General Electric Co. and Hitachi Ltd. to build the world's first commercial facility where an emerging laser technology would be used to enrich uranium for use in nuclear power reactors.
