K&L Gates Re-Elects Firm Chairman Amid Partner Exits

Law360, New York (September 25, 2012, 9:44 PM EDT) -- K&L Gates LLP's management committee on Tuesday unanimously re-elected Peter J. Kalis to a fifth term as chairman, just one week after reports surfaced that partners nationwide had been fleeing the firm at an alarming rate.

Kalis, who has led the firm through eight mergers since 1997, will serve as its chairman and global managing partner through February 2017, according to the announcement.
