Fox Rothschild Aided $2M Real Estate Fraud, Rabbi Says

Law360, New York (September 28, 2012, 8:02 PM EDT) -- A U.K.-based rabbi has sued Fox Rothschild LLP in New Jersey for allegedly aiding accused fraudster Eliyahu Weinstein in a real estate scam that cost the plaintiff more than $2.4 million.

In a Sept. 10 complaint in Bergen County Superior Court, Moshe Meisels argues that Fox Rothschild and Anthony Argiropoulos, a former partner there, helped Weinstein by having funds from unwitting investors go through the firm's attorney trust account, so Weinstein could give investors the impression that the money was safe.
