Brazil Court Eases Drilling Ban On Transocean, Not Chevron

Law360, New York (October 1, 2012, 7:42 PM EDT) -- Brazil’s second-highest court has largely lifted a ban on Transocean Inc.’s offshore drilling operations but left in place a prohibition on exploration by it and Chevron Corp. in a field that witnessed a significant oil spill late last year, the companies said Monday.
