Chinese-Owned Co. Adds Obama To Blocked Wind Farm Suit

Law360, New York (October 2, 2012, 3:05 PM EDT) -- A Chinese-owned company on Monday added President Barack Obama to its suit challenging his order to keep it from developing Oregon wind farms on national security grounds, saying Obama's decision violates Ralls Corp.'s constitutional rights.

Ralls, a Delaware company helmed by two Chinese manufacturing magnates, last month sued the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. after the interagency group — responsible for evaluating national security risks — halted Ralls' acquisition of four wind farm companies.
