NHTSA Probes Honda Pilot, Odyssey Roll-Away Incidents

Law360, New York (October 5, 2012, 2:26 PM EDT) -- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating whether older models of American Honda Motor Co.’s Odyssey minivans and Pilot SUVs could roll away after drivers remove the ignition key, the agency said Tuesday.

The investigation into the possible failure of an ignition interlock mechanism affects an estimated 577,100 vehicles from Honda’s 2003 and 2004 model years of the Odyssey and Pilot vehicles, the NHTSA said.
