Alaska Village Urges 9th Circ. To Rehear Climate Change Suit

Law360, New York (October 5, 2012, 3:29 PM EDT) -- An Alaskan village asked the Ninth Circuit on Thursday to reconsider its recent decision to uphold the dismissal of a public nuisance lawsuit against Exxon Mobil Corp. and other energy giants over their greenhouse gas emissions, arguing the appeals court had disregarded U.S. Supreme Court precedent.
