Abstract Patent Suit To Get Fed. Circ. En Banc Rehearing

Law360, New York (October 09, 2012, 4:56 PM ET) -- The Federal Circuit on Tuesday agreed to reconsider a case concerning when a patent on a computer-implemented invention should be rejected for claiming abstract ideas, vacating a ruling in a suit over Alice Corp.'s patents covering a computerized trading platform and granting a rehearing en banc.
