Citizens United Doesn't Bar Texas Bingo Law, 5th Circ. Says

Law360, Dallas (October 10, 2012, 3:17 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit on Tuesday upheld a Texas law that prevents charities from spending money raised through bingo games on political lobbying, saying the U.S. Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision can’t be extended to require governments to subsidize political speech.
