Bloomberg Urges FCC To End Delay Of Comcast Channel Moves

Law360, New York (October 10, 2012, 3:49 PM EDT) -- Bloomberg LP on Tuesday asked the Federal Communications Commission to force Comcast Corp. to place Bloomberg Television near competing news networks in certain channel lineups, saying the FCC should lift a partial administrative stay on an order requiring so-called news neighborhooding.

In a reply to Comcast's opposition of the request to remove the stay, Bloomberg argued the administrative delay was hurting consumers by denying them the “full benefit” of having its BTV programming in a network neighborhood close to other news channels.
