Brooklyn Board OKs Lightstone To Lead 700-Unit Development

Law360, New York (October 11, 2012, 5:45 PM EDT) -- A Brooklyn community board voted late Wednesday to conditionally approve the Lightstone Group's plans to take over a former Toll Brothers Inc. development site with minor modifications, despite a recommendation from the board's land use committee that it request a new environmental study.

The board 6 voted 27-4, with four abstentions, to approve a motion from executive committee member Robert Levine that allows Lightstone to move forward with its plans for the Superfund site while submitting to a new zoning study.
