ITC Judge Consolidates Two InterDigital Cases

Law360, New York (October 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- InterDigital Inc. said Thursday that two cases it filed alleging infringement of its 3G cellular phone handset patents have been consolidated before the U.S. International Trade Commission.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, InterDigital disclosed that Administrative Law Judge Paul J. Luckern had combined one case against Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and another case against Nokia Corp.

The schedules for the two investigations have been revised, and a unified evidentiary hearing will take place in April, according to the filing.
