Lawmaker Probes Obama's WARN Act Guidance To Contractors

Darrell Issa, R-Calif., on Thursday launched a congressional investigation into the Obama administration's guidance telling defense contractors not to issue budget-driven layoff notices, seeking correspondence between the White House and 10 top defense firms to gauge whether the U.S. encouraged contractors to "flout" employment laws.
