Law360, New York (October 12, 2012, 7:56 PM ET) -- TD Bank NA has lost unencrypted backup tapes with personal information, including account information and Social Security numbers, that could affect more than 267,000 customers nationwide, the Massachusetts attorney general said Friday.
Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley said the bank had informed the state office that it had lost two data backup tapes in March that could create a security breach for thousands of customers.
