Weil Helps Advent Acquire $748M Danish IT Co.

Law360, New York (October 15, 2012, 3:58 PM EDT) -- In its second major deal this month, global private equity firm Advent International Corp. has agreed to buy Danish information technology giant KMD A/S for an undisclosed amount, adding a company worth 4.3 billion Danish crowns ($747.5 million) to its growing technology portfolio, Advent said Monday.

KMD developed and controls the largest IT systems in Denmark's cities, leading the country's technology industry with the administration and processing of welfare benefits, private and public sector salaries and local government finances.
