AARP Assails Pa. Electric Co.'s Spot-Market Power Buys

Law360, New York (October 16, 2012, 6:11 PM EDT) -- AARP Pennsylvania on Friday lent its support to a lawsuit looking to keep a local electricity provider from buying power for its default service exclusively on the short-term spot market, saying it threatens the stability of electricity prices for consumers and violates state law.
