Law360, New York (October 29, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Bankrupt logging company Pacific Lumber has asked a Texas court to prevent two whistleblowers from transferring a claims estimation proceeding to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California.
In court documents filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, Pacific Lumber Co. noted that the court had already turned down two “nearly identical” motions filed by the qui tam plaintiffs.
