Arch Chemicals Faces Age-Bias Suit Over Post-Merger Layoffs

Law360, New York (October 17, 2012, 3:19 PM EDT) -- Arch Chemicals Inc. was hit Monday with a class action in Georgia federal court by a septuagenarian who alleges the company violated the Age Discrimination in Employment Act by using its recent acquisition by Lonza Group Ltd. as pretext to fire older workers and replace them with younger employees.
