Alleged 'Rebecca' Fraudster To Be Held Without Bail

Law360, New York (October 17, 2012, 8:23 PM EDT) -- A consultant who allegedly defrauded the producers of the Broadway musical “Rebecca” and a Connecticut real estate company will be held in custody pending his trial, a New York federal judge ordered Wednesday.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Gabriel W. Gorenstein granted prosecutors' request that Long Island businessman Mark Hotton, 46, not be released on bail after Hotton's defense consented to his being detained for now.
