Intel Plaintiffs Balk At Tax Return Ruling

Law360, New York (October 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Claiming a court document mix-up, the plaintiffs in an antitrust action against Intel Corp. are seeking to overturn a judge's ruling that would require the class representatives to produce personal tax returns and other financial records.

On Monday, U.S. District Judge Joseph Farnan approved the recommendation of the court-appointed special master to compel the plaintiffs to cough up their financial records, indicating that part of his reasoning stemmed from the fact that no objections had been filed to the suggestion.
