InterVideo Sues Dell Over DVD Playback Patent

Law360, New York (August 15, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- California-based DVD software maker InterVideo Inc. has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Dell Inc. over a technology for DVD playback on computers.

The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, is the latest in a string of similar complaints filed against major PC makers.
