China Says Recent Political Attacks May Harm Trade

Law360, New York (October 19, 2012, 3:44 PM EDT) -- China's Ministry of Commerce on Friday chastised U.S. politicians for their recent attacks on China, saying that politicizing trade issues may harm the long-term relationship between the two countries.

Commerce Ministry spokesman Shen Danyang said in a press conference Friday that he hoped the U.S. would refrain from politicizing trade issues, adding that healthy trade relations between the U.S. and China were a “win-win.”
