FTC Pushes Cos. Using Facial ID Tech To Tighten Disclosures

Law360, New York (October 22, 2012, 5:34 PM EDT) -- The Federal Trade Commission on Monday unveiled guidance for commercial facial recognition technology usage that urged companies to be clearer about how consumers' information is being collected and used, despite one commissioner saying the recommendations go “too far, too soon.”
