Edwards Angell, Kendall Freeman To Merge

Law360, New York (October 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- U.S. law firm Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP and U.K.-based Kendall Freeman have announced plans to merge, expanding the U.S. firm’s geographical reach and enhancing both firms’ presence and capacities in all practice areas.

According to merger plans revealed Tuesday, Kendall Freeman’s London office will take on the Edwards Angell name starting Jan. 1, 2008, essentially becoming the U.S. firm’s first international office. Once the merger is complete, Edwards Angell will boast more than 600 attorneys and solicitors working out of 11 offices.
