New Bill Pushes Waterways Modernization For Trade Expansion

Law360, New York (October 24, 2012, 6:29 PM EDT) -- A forthcoming piece of legislation developed by a Republican senator seeks to modernize America's waterways system in anticipation of the trade opportunities afforded by the upcoming expansion of the Panama Canal, the lawmaker said Wednesday.

Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., said that he, Sen.
