Judge Scolds Counsel For Improper Conduct In Lucent Patent Suit Vs. Extreme Networks

Law360, New York (August 18, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Telecommunications equipment maker Lucent Technologies Inc. will get another chance to prove infringement of patents for networking software after being granted a new trial this week, based on what the judge called improper conduct by the defendant’s counsel.
