Texas Agency Sinks Bid For Solar, Geothermal Energy Rules

Law360, Los Angeles (October 26, 2012, 6:13 PM EDT) -- The Texas Public Utility Commission has rejected a request to enact rules boosting state requirements for solar and geothermal energy generation, a coalition of environmental advocates announced Friday, saying the commission denied their petition the same day it doubled wholesale price caps for electricity.
