Panel Probes Canada's Competition Policy

Law360, New York (November 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A government panel established to review Canada's competition laws has drawn up a strikingly broad agenda in its quest to update old rules and maximize the country's competitive position.

Canada's Competition Policy Review Panel released a consultation paper Tuesday, asking for public comment on a wide range of competition and foreign investment policies. The panel is also looking to explore how to best attract business to Canada and how to promote Canadian investment abroad.
