Eminem's Former Label Ends Download Royalty Row With UMG

Law360, New York (October 30, 2012, 7:12 PM EDT) -- The former record label of rapper Eminem on Monday reached a settlement in its long-running suit in California federal court seeking higher royalties for digital downloads of Eminem's songs from Aftermath Records and other units of Universal Music Group Inc.

Aftermath and its parents UMG Recording Inc. and Interscope Records, along with plaintiffs F.B.T. Productions LLC and Em2M LLC inked a joint stipulation of dismissal of the case with prejudice, saying the "action has been resolved to the satisfaction of all parties.”
