VA Wrongly DQ'ed Small Biz From Fertilizer Contract: GAO

Law360, New York (October 31, 2012, 8:36 PM ET) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office sustained a disabled-veteran-owned small business' protest over a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs fertilizer contract Wednesday, saying VA showed a “fundamental misunderstanding” of a 2006 law that requires the agency to set aside contracts for veteran-owned small businesses.
