No Need To Move EMC IP Suit From Texas, Fed. Circ. Hears

Law360, New York (November 1, 2012, 6:30 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge correctly refused to transfer a patent suit against EMC Corp. to another district because the court had already invested time in the case, and EMC's claim that the ruling makes transfers too difficult is "demonstrably false," the plaintiff told the Federal Circuit on Wednesday.
